Inspired by one of the most majestic beaches in the world, Luskentyre on the Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides. The idea for this print came to mind when I visited Harris, I knew I had to explore the colours and light. I had originally planned a larger edition with a summery sky also featuring an Arctic Tern, however I decided to split the edition and give this variation a typically Scottish brooding sky.... you might still see the imprint of the bird through the ink! I .ave used a section of the coastal area to reflect on the sky, producing some interesting reflective effects.
 
Hand Finished Lino Print. Limited Edition of 32. Print size approx 18 x 26 cm plus white border. Printed on fine Hosho Japanese paper which has been mounted onto white acid free cartridge paper for vibrancy. Hand-printed with love in my Kendal Studio.
Unframed print comes card backed and cellophane wrapped for protection.
