This painting is inspired by the iconic Striding Edge Ridge in the English Lake District. There are times I think I could walk myself into a daydream, if it were ever going to happen, I'm certain it would be on top of Helvellyn. The subtle glow in the sky captures how powerful and meditative this iconic ridge can be.
